Ya know, I have never been much of a Pope guy but anyone who pisses off politicians nowadays is a radical and somehow the Pope (? What the fuck is going on?) has been a little radical. I hope he pulls through. I’d pray for him but idk that might make it worse coming from me lol.
When I went in for bottom surgery out local Catholic School held a mass for me, dunno if it was for my health or so I’d have a last minute change of heart, but either way I was happy for them
Damn that’s hardcore - haha. I’m glad they had a good time, I suppose. Do you feel sufficiently blessed, now? (I hope very much so btw. Terrified for my own one day)
Mine was over 20 years ago now, and terrifying at the time, but the best thing I ever did for myself. Just the freedom and peace and being able to feel comfortable naked for the first time ever, best feeling in the world
That’s awesome, I’m really glad to hear that. I know a little bit about that feeling from losing maybe close to 150 lbs now and the effects of HRT. Still not fully comfortable naked but.. it’s a start and helps immensely. It’s nice to feel like a person.
Ooooh, okay! Thank you for the info, I’ll have to do some reading about this to catch myself up.. I still said a prayer for him. Kindness begets kindness and everything matters when hatred is in charge.
it's because this pope was around argentina in the 70s for the liberation theology movement. It was quite radical for the time, basically commie catholics. They thought Christians should like, help the poor and shit like Jesus did. All stuff American bishops HATE.
My dad once told me the vet had had to put both our dogs to sleep. Turns out he just meant knock them out long enough to remove the porcupine quills they were covered in. Yeesh!
My mum scared the shit out of me when she took my dog in for a minor wound to be stitched, came back crying and saying they had to put her to sleep, then clarified that it was just full knock out instead of local anaesthetic. She was crying because my dog had bitten the vet and it had scared her
"Hello, Vatican? Yes, I'm calling about the copy editor's position. No, I'm not Catholic but the current guy just gave several million of the faithful heart attacks and undoubtedly sent a few grannies to meet Jesus up close and personal. *chatter on other end of line* Yes, I'll hold."
This is either a terrible google translation or a terrible human translation. The verb pasar (Spanish) or passare (Italian) can literally mean ‘pass’, but clearly in this context someone should have chosen the verb ‘spent’ instead 🙄
Love a light verb construction, they're surprisingly tricky in translation (and often a very clear marker of non-native usage, which might be extremely fluent).
Yup since this is AFP I suspect that they meant : a passé une nuit paisible à l’hôpital. Makes sense in French not so in English. As a francophone am not saying it never happened to me to make such a mistake ;)
It's from when I see the post because I follow the person replying. So I see the skeet, then the reply, and then I think of something, then I do a GIF search for the doctor-- don't see him, so I just make the comment. Then I see a myriad of people saying the same thing, with images and wiki links.
If you want to go down the One World Order path, then its plays are synced with the Vatican. Outside that, religion is mythology meant for people afraid to just accept that the lights go out, and that's it. It's 2025- come on, people - get a grip.

Notably, he’s the first Jesuit to be a Pope (in addition to first non-European in over 1,000 years).
They know the Bible is telling THEM to repent and return the money (Malachi 3:8).
They know Matthew 19:12 says God prefers same-sex marriage.
Anyone that doesn't stay out of all the fake churches will die soon and they are all lying.
I'd bet on it
no it's not good. I did not cook
