Day 4 of my 2024 favorites: Ms Baeus (miniscule stubby wingless wasp), on my fingertip, moments before hopping into the void never to be seen again. These tiny nuggets can be very hard to shoot, and can basically disappear on a sheet of white paper. Getting this shot pleased me immensely. 🤎

You may recognize "Dryinoidea" if you love wasps, as the main family in the group is the Dryinidae, the pincer wasps, which I've posted many of over the years and are one of my favorites to shoot. I would not have guessed this creature is related to them!
