I can't stand it that they actually think he's autistic when he is a psychotic schizophrenic, borderline bipolar megalomaniac narcissist and a drug severe addict. He would snort chicken shit if it got him high.
I don’t really care. I don’t have enough knowledge of contemporary understanding of such diagnoses to know whether it might be accurate. I don’t think it’s especially useful.
But I do think the need to pathologize terrible behavior emerges from a place that is fundamentally based in false ideas about mental illness. So it might be worth at least thinking about.
I mean, I’m no doctor, but this caught me eye in the Wikipedia article:
