Im not a financial advisor and I’ve never held a job that afforded any such benefits, but im still pretty sure that now is not the time. That window existed for a short period after the election and before the inauguration.
It depends entirely on your age & how desperately you need the money. If you are in your late 50s or 60s, you probably don't want to see your 401k go down 25-30% in value.
If you are 35 & not hurt badly by the recession, it will work itself out.
Right. I know to buy low. But I sold all my stocks (not that I had a ton) and started to invest in things that will make my life cheaper in old age, rather than money to live off. By the looks of it... I made the right call.
