The ruling, as I understand it, did not say that trans women cannot use women's toilets as such. It said it is lawful to exclude us. Which sucks but the difference matters. If organisations discriminate against us it's a decision they are making, not something they've been forced into.

Bridget Phillipson here, confirming that the government’s position is that trans women must always use men’s bathrooms when out in public.

Try spending some time reading rather than regurgitating transphobic media trash.

It's a shame that politicians, the media and certain social media activists have decided to stir this up. It's only a problem if someone complains and an organisation chooses to discriminate against trans women.
It empowers bigots.
However it must still be deemed "proportionate” to exclude trans women with a GRC, this isn't proportionate.
They want their cake and to eat it.

Anticipate all sorts of provocations by bigots to force compliance.
They can put some intellectual creativity to it if they want. I wonder, for instance how Lloyds Bank will handle this who have pledged solidarity with trans staff just days ago.
The worrying thing is that it's entirely possible to see the EHRC taking this position given the reaction of its head to the SC ruling.
Which makes it easier to fight back; cf what happened to Target in the US once they dropped dei and aluenated their Black customers.
