"Doesn't suspect foul play" pardon me but when I find the bones of a four-years-missing man inside his dead father's home, that is at least foul play in the handling of a corpse even if I can't prove it in a cause of death. That may not be how it works in legal terminology, but that is FOUL.

Ahhh, I see. The mobile version of the story was heavy with pop-ups and unfriendly on my phone, so I genuinely missed that he was in a backyard treehouse. That raises other questions, but good to know he wasn't literally in his dad's house.
