This article is totally insane; NPR should be ashamed. The headlines and lede give you no indication at all that RFK is a crank whose claims about vaccines are false and threaten public health. Would they write a story saying "Alex Jones wants to inform the public but he faces a lot of pushback"?

The vaccine industry HAS failed to fulfill its obligations from the 1990s when they were granted immunity from liability in exchange for admitting issues through testing and fixing them.
Americans have been harmed by food system/ vaxx. These are facts.

But I don’t think the analogue to Alex Jones is appropriate either.
RFK is in my opinion unfit to the task (for widely known reasons) … but is nowhere near the bad faith actor and malfeasant charlatan that Alex Jones is.
