The UK's anti-protest laws pre-legitimise far right authoritarianism. Labour must repeal them now.

Norfolk anti-incinerator campaign never broke law & won. Waste Management Inc lost $0.5b, Cameron U-turned on 'flagship' project & we delivered most decisive large scale vote in UK history.
Protest remains a vital aspect of democracy for communicating demands to power.
He supports genocide and suppression of protests against that genocide.
He, like Trump, is aiming cuts at the vulnerable whilst leaving tax dodgers, who coincidentally, now choose to fund the Labour party, untouched.
My question is, what can we DO (other than complain on social media)?
And never for aggressive farmers or rednecks who carry out their right to demonstrate.
The former DPP convinced ppl he was a democratic socialist to become leader of the LP.
He then immediately started the left wing purge.
Surveillance nation ?
You got what you campaigned for.
This could be for example via certain powers for the judiciary, or even (flawed as it is) HoL.
Sadly, as this article highlights, the answer may well prove to be: ‘ushering in a right wing authoritarian regime’.
Just as the hapless Democrats did in the US. 🤦🏽♂️
When I see all that I think "at least"
Personally, my vote is for a scientifically literate government (democracy)

Basically, science increases a persons general intelligence
“Slowly at first”
Hundreds of farmers in polluting tractors not a police in sight
But some of us sometimes need a moment to breathe. Maybe even grunty-snort.
Anyone here think the PM could pull off a 'Love Actually'?
Just the headline:

(You) Switch to a plant (& fungi) based diet
(We) Re-wild the freed-up land (drawing down atmospheric CO2) Together with transitioning towards a renewable-energy based #economy

That's one of the clearest examples of their far right tendencies. Are you a quiet terf, or are we just not important enough?
It’s disgusting to see the likes of Monbiot correctly identify the oppressive state-sanctioned abuse inflicted upon people with ME by the NHS and then actually post *in support* of Labour’s horrendous anti-trans care restrictions.
Is he another bigot or just a coward?

Centrists are the small c conservatives and preservers of democratic principles.
much more defining of political wings than the traditional "wings".
a lot of the words we use to try and define politics have loosened meanings now.
