Recently read an article by a guy who took care of one (I'm not sure if it was a crow or a magpie, but their personalities are similar) that lost both it's wings. He said the bird never seemed in any way sad or depressed about the loss. It was always like "Well, I always preferred hopping anyway"
Horror franchises would be a lot less terrifying if the monster, or crazed killer, or whatever, could only move about by bouncing. *Precluding things that actually do bounce.

After I sent my older brother a birthday card in early August, the day after he sends me an email foreshadowing my death, just like above. Amazingly evil. Needless to say, he is now out of my life (in this life)and I hope never to see/meet him again. Ever.

think it's funny that crows and ravens are popularly associated with death and dark stuff, but then the actual animals are just cute, silly, sweet and playful little guys who aren't really scary at all vkvfgcghcbfhcgfd (unless you get on their bad side of course)
yeeee, there's also the fact that they can remember faces
but this also means that you can make friends with them so if you show that you're friendly and give them treats and stuff, they'll remember you too
We have a mated pair who nest nearby who follow us where we 🚶♀️, 🚶♀️the 🐕 or even riding 🚴🏾♀️. They know where we shop, where we live. If I forget 🥜 I say “Go to the deck.” They’re there when we return! We got to baby sit their kids once! They imitate my call to them & have amazing facial recognition
A crow comic, Chanting White Crow approves. And with the shamans seal of approval, you can take that cartoon to the bank. The astral bank that is, the one the corner of 2nd and collective unconscious Street, just passed the Starbucks. YES I know they're everywhere.
Because crows hopping is super cute and it's detracting from the whole "harbinger of death" act, so Death is suggesting an exit that's less cute and more dramatic.
No. After "send the message" the crow get out doing this small hops, like a normal crow usually do. This is funny and cute, so not expected in context.
I've been playing Death's Door a lot recently. It's a game where you're a soul reaper crow who (for some reason) can't fly or jump. You walk everywhere.
ANDERSEN! YOU MAGNIFICENT B****, I BOUGHT YOUR BOOK!
(The vampire and werewolf one. I keep running into your work on pinterest and it's like stumbling onto little joy landmines the overwhelming majority of the time. So thanks for all of that).
This comic is such a perfect mix of dark humor and cuteness! Death's messenger hopping away instead of flying dramatically—what a plot twist! 😂 #SarahAndersen #DarkHumor
This reminds me of the crows in my backyard! They always swoop in looking majestic and threatening - until they find a peanut. Then they do a happy little hop all the way back to their water dish.
