I was homeless for a short time during the winter. I had to crawl into a dumpster and cover myself with bags of shredded paper behind a bank building to keep from freezing to death. Homelessness can happen quickly and to almost anyone.

I’ve never been homeless but I’ve had plenty of friends with jobs who have had to spend the summer camping and showering that the YMCA to survive. Homelessness is about economic choices we’ve made as a society and it’s not a lie.

In Venice Beach Cali. if you are homeless and O.D. on the beach you only get 2 chances. An agreement made says If the gangs sell on the beach they get busted and harrassed in-land, so they are responsible for overdoses.
