Lmao same. If I may suggest, get a subscription service like GamePass on Xbox. It may give you more opportunities to practice, or as in my case it’ll let you feel less guilty about not finishing the games.
I’m with you. I can basically get through a game on medium/medium difficult settings in campaign mode. Up against another player? I’m generally useless.
I play everything on easy mode cause I don’t have the time an energy to get that angry at a video game. It’s ok no not “get gud son”, as long as you are enjoying the experience that’s all that matters.
I look at a game playthru on youtube, my minds thinks ow nice I want that too. Then I buy and play it, and I suck completely at it. :) just bought Rambo today haha. Played for 20 minutes , then gave up :) hahaha, it was on easiest gameplay :)
Same.
The ONLY 2 times I climbed the worldwide leader boards, it was because no one else was playing, or the feature was so niche, no one was aware there WERE leaderboards...
I've been a bad video game player since 1980 (44 years of bad video game play). Do I still play video games when I can, yes I do. Why because I'm either hard-headed or just looking for punishment 😂
I have a guild that know I'm not the best and that it absolutely doesn't matter. I have a ridiculous amount of fun with them and in turn, they appreciate that I care about them as people, not arbitrary numbers in a video game.
“Terrible” is a perspective. There are plenty of Twitch streamers who make fantastic income by sucking at a game, and being hilarious to watch make the attempt.
For sure! You’re beautiful, creative, seem intelligent and charismatic enough… Take a weekend and film yourself playing a game. The worse the better! …And just see what people think.
I used to be in a clan for Halo. I sucked. Got my ass handed to me every time I played. But I wasn’t playing to win. I played because I liked the game and the people.
It's all a part of the process ya just to relax and take get squashed by the game like king or queen and eventually you'll be the hero of legend...n short it's the real life hero's journey
I used to be so good. I stopped playing for a few years. I'm like a newbie now. LoL! I get murdered in games I used to rock at. It's all good, still as fun as it has always been. Still waiting for a PS game that can compare to the old PC game, Myst, with the added graphics features & others of today
Sometimes your type of gamer has more fun. There are so many ways to play these days. Like not everyone has to be able to beat dark souls or 100% donkey Kong 64 in less than 20 hours or something haha
I will shamelessly crank the difficulty all the way down to the easiest it can be because I'm here to have a good time not die over and over and get stressed out or frustrated over it
I'm decent at solving puzzles and suck at things that require excellent motor skills and timed challenges 🥲
But if I'm being honest, I'm good at building in Minecraft, and turn-based games like BG3 or Fallout. Hopeless at all souls-likes or RTS like Shadow Tactics. Laughable at competitive fps 💀
I wish it was possible for more people to understand that "spends a lot of time doing something" does not automatically equal "is really good at that thing".
There has never and will never be a requirement to be good at video games. If anyone tells you different, they aren't worth your time. Do you have a favorite game?
There is no way to be a terrible video game player because there are thousands of different games besides the competitive shoot em ups. You might not be great at one type of game but that doesnt mean you are a terrible player! And me, too. 😂
Such a mood.
Why should we "get good" if we're still having fun!
Our game designer finds it very funny that my first instinct is to go towards the danger...
Safe to say I die a lot
This is such an old guy thing to say but I used to enjoy gaming before the visuals became overwhelming. They're so complicated and come at you so fast. But at a slower pace you twitch speed freaks would get bored with them.
As long as your having fun its ok to be bad. I'm also pretty bad in video games. I'm the "I just learned a cool mechanic, lets absolutely screw it up immediately after doing it right multiple times" type of bad. I'm also notorious for dying in tutorials and to the dumbest things possible.

Perfect, Kenzie.
Mr Level 1
I’m also really terrible at even finishing games.

Those guys who are super good at one game... Just what are you doing with your life man.
I play the way I enjoy the game, as the way it should be.😄
Absolutely. Game on.
Someone has to check the soldiers' reaction time!
Cool Graphics: Check.
Banger Tunes: Check.
Cool Programming: Check.
Gameplay: Not required.
habb fun

Signed,
Someone who can't play Super Smash Bro's at all.
Are you having fun?
Then you're an excellent video game player.
I've beaten Dark Souls 1-3, but it was more by persistence and learning the games then being good at them...

Awesome.

That is peak video games. Sweaty seriousness is no fun (I mean, it can be, time and place, you know haha).
