It seems to me like it's time for everyone in this country who ever took an oath to defend the constitution against all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC to act. Every member of the military took said oath and they have the power to act. Civilians could lead a national strike but it must be done now.

Show up in their offices. Demand action. I don't know. I'm not American, I don't know all the "official" routes to take. One big thing is get involved in your communities. In real life. Democratic politicians at all level of government should be the ones sounding a call to action.

It's so hard to advise, as I am not American and am looking from the outside in. This is where community building in your local area can be helpful. Maybe reach out to people in your area from the Occupy movement, any civil rights organisations, and LIBRARIES! A librarian can absolutely guide you.
