For those who remember the early 00s pretty well, we used to get quite a few GTA clones after the success of GTA III.
True Crime: Streets of LA was actually a pretty good one! It had a great protagonist, it was funny, and I really enjoyed my time with it.
Anyone else remember this one?

But I played Sleeping Dogs and loved it.
That soundtrack slapped
Dual wielding with slow-mo slapped
You learned all sorts of power moves like shenmu too.
Protagonist was basically a John woo action movie character

I remember liking the music a lot
Also liked the sequel had a killer soundtrack.
This and Streets of NY were awesome. Played them all the time, abused the cheats too π
I really need to play Sleeping Dogs since apparently it started as a True Crime game.
...there's also a True Crime sequel set in NYC. I liked it, but apparently it's divisive?
Most of my GTA stuff was either PSX or PSP
And nobody complained Jackie was "woke" back then and they would if this released today
