my favorite CIA fact that puts many of its early/deranged activities (e.g. MK Ultra, agents putting psychedelics in each other's coffee cups) in important context is that it was formed only in 1947. it was less than 20 years old when JFK was killed, younger than homeland security is today

Embarrassing
The United States abolished slavery in 1865 with the ratification of the 13th Amendment to the Constitution
Bless you tho Karen
But before the passage of the 13th amendment the US is the only nation in the world that fought a war to end slavery.
Not sure why you’re arguing with me about that. Take back your fucking “Karen,” cause I ain’t one.
So because you used violence you’re somehow better, I’m so confused
Fabulous
Similarities between now and 1930’s there are MANY differences, please keep this in mind and go forth for democracy!
We need a political party strong enough to strip money from the massive defense fund and return it to public education so people know a lie when they're told one, like "people are eating pets in Springfield" instead of voting for the person who said it.
I don’t disagree with you, at all. Divestment in public education certainly got you here. But first you need a climate where it’s possible.

I'm a (almost licensed) massage therapist in the south, unfortunately not much sabotage I could do without putting myself in danger (and I have kids I need to be around for)
Also a triple minority (divorced Latina mom) they don't want me

It used to be on the WH web site.
It’s being used for toilet paper instead of the classified documents
Hmm
JFK, jr must have been licking the empty cups.
It's more up to date.

It may be old, but most of the information is still usable.
By the by, as an aside, I don't know if you've ever read "You're Stepping On My Cloak and Dagger" and "19" by Rodger Hall, both about his experiences in the OSS. If you haven't I recommend them.
And thank you for the doc. Good stuff 👍.
