I despise Elon and everything they're doing to this country, and I despise the tone of this message, HOWEVER, asking what employees are doing, in and of itself, is not an unusual request. In my current job and my previous one, I have had to turn in weekly timesheets accounting for my 40 hours.

I didn't disagree with this either, but we don't know how the data is being collected or who is reviewing it. The email may simply direct them to a secured site where they submit timesheets for their managers. There's not enough information in Elon's email to be furious with anyone.
