I can’t believe we still have to be saying this but VALENTINO ISN’T REAL. People can enjoy characters who do horrible things. Fiction is escape, fiction isn’t reality. if you cannot grasp that you don’t have the maturity to engage with media, and especially the REAL people involved in making media.
Comments
The fandoms - "thats ok! 🤗"
People who like - Valentino, or even draw him
The fandoms - "No, thats illegal!!" *proceeds to make their lives, even the VA life, hell*
I hate that the fandom does this.. As a Val fan I honestly feel scared to even show some drawings I have of him too, because I fear the harrassments and bullsh t that will surely follow for simply loving a good villain..
So people enjoy bad characters! That makes you uncomfortable? Why? Poke at that thought a bit, then go make art about it.
Joel is playing a ROLE.
Actors are not their ROLES.
It’s his job.
Please fandom chill tf out, you don’t go after actors that play antagonists :’)
Antagonists have existed forever. Why is it any different now?
By all means, be grossed out by the way someone talks about that fictional character. Just don't attack them over that.

How many dudes idolize the Joker and Patrick Bateman completely misunderstanding the point of those stories?
It's not the author's fault that their audience is media illiterate and stupid.
We're all meant to be adults here 😒 if people can't separate the actor from character, they probably shouldn't be watching shows with "bad" people in them fjfhhd
“The world is seldom what it seems; to man, who dimly sees, realities appear as dreams, and dreams realities.”
So quite a few dream and think it is reality.
Just look at Disney they're Villains are so popular they got their own sub genre and now getting own movies
I can like the Joker, cause he’s an entertaining villain, but I never wanna be him, and get him therapy
https://youtube.com/shorts/q6tD50aUZ1o?si=8Igrs0qRXJ5iAKgN
I don’t care about the things they say to me, but it’s annoying how people can’t separate fiction from reality...
If you don't like it, don't watch it.
But don't judge others out loud for liking it.
This right here
It’s such a simple statement and absolutely 100% true; I don’t understand why haters can’t get that through their thick skulls 🫤
It’s okay to dislike a work of media; it is NOT okay to criticize the fans for enjoying it. That’s kindergarten playground behavior fr
People should also realize that having these opinions on a villain doesn't excuse spreading hate toward the actors who play these characters because, guess what? Most of them aren't like the characters they portray.
Those assholes aside, I hope you're super proud you've created stories so many people engage with in so many different ways, Viv!
That’s literally how they view the world and it’s downright disturbing..
And unlike movies like Megamind or The Bad Guys, they don't develop their characters in the end. They STAY terrible people.
In the early 2010s it was unusual for villains to be rehabilitated, so it was a nice change of pace in shows like Steven Universe and Adventure Time. But then it became the norm, which is an unrealistic standard
Like, don't get me wrong, I love redemption stories but, I mean, it gets kinda old when you start seeing them everywhere you know?
People get better. Whatever "sin" it was to land her on the lefty shitlist is far in the past by now.
- The art is publicly posted on DeviantART and is 10 years old.
- I post their art to help them get commissions.
- My friend specifically requested that I leave them out of any 'Hazbin Hotel'-related discussions.
Literally people take fictional characters or literal fictional animated show lore so far or too deep... like NOBODY is endorsing abuse or murder even! People are allowed to enjoy villains or evil centered characters, they're made up!
Also, Vox hypnotizes ppl & Velv sells date rape drugs. Where's the smoke for them?
(1/2)
(2/2)
That said, if we're going by this logic, then where's this energy for Husk in regards to his treatment by Alastor?
I made one for myself that you're welcome to use
Like, know the character is a shit person despite being a fun character while also accepting both can be true and it's perfectly fine to enjoy them.
People need to get off their crusty unwashed asses and remember actors have jobs to do. Jesus h christ the VA for Griffith from Berserk never got this treatment.
Some people are dumb.
Let this place stay at The Good Place, let people coming in from the Bad Place find out the blocking means that NOBODY sees them and their bullshit.
People are so stupid.
Yes... The villains do that... because they are the BAD GUYS!
"Gary Greenwald and Phil Phillips reveal the demonic intentions behind children's toys and cartoons, which is to spread allegiance to Satan."
I kinda want to watch it, to laugh at it? But am afraid it'd just make me angry instead.
Us kids then? We loved the show. We loved playing with the toys.
We grew up and have fond memories of stuff like the Transformers. It was fine, really. :/
Kids are forever told to "be good" .
Through these toys they can be 'bad'.
That's the point of fairy tales, where some characters are truly frightening.
But then that type of crazies exist in every fandom. "Sephiroth did nothing wrong" kinda deal.
but i mean it's kinda whole premise of the show... since it's based in hell... lmao
Sometimes its nice to see an irredeemable piece of shit get what they deserve
I think Cocomelon might be more up their alley.
On the other hand, people getting mad over a character usualy means they're well written!
Some people are looking for more than white noise
The constant slander, gossip and everything towards a person all just because... Someone has a different view on Blitzo???
I will never understand fandom-stans. And I am glad things are much more calm here.
(Disclaimer: I'm not a villain - #StanMills is)
https://www.reddit.com/r/FanTheories/comments/5dopzi/fantastic_beasts_the_real_reason_that_newt/
But some people can’t do that anymore in this day and age
(And I agree, JKR is the real Umbridge and she doesn't get enough hate.)
Now I have to rewrite my whole history report
I don’t care about the things they say to me, but it’s annoying how people can’t separate fiction from reality.
Is this a recent phenomenon? I remember for example back in the days of Lion King fandom people would draw Scar and talk about how awesome he was without getting threats...
Apparently people now think you can’t like villains because “you’re condoning their actions”.
One of the nice things about fantasy is you can appreciate the bad guys without compromising morals. The Empire in Star Wars? Totally based on Nazis. But they're NOT REAL so you can enjoy the aesthetic and say "Darth Vader is cool."
It doesn't mean you like actual Nazis!
We’ve been having these mainstream purity wars since 2012 and this is mostly because of
Kids used to have spaces for them online but then with the rise of influencer culture&monetization of engagement
God why are millenials and Gen zs so myopic, despite having a catalog of human knowledge in their pockets at all times.
Bruh they killed Socrates for this shit in 400bc.
It has been a concerted effort by right-wing groups to censor queer shit and also pornography for *decades*. if you were there for the lj purge you know.
I KNEW IT.
Yes he is a monster but at the same time he has this charismatic charm to him. Even then people hate Val but love Alastor. When Loser Baby draws similarities of how both Husk and Angel are abused by them.
Alastor is also an abusive monster
I mean I'm a Murder Drones fan and 99% of the characters on that show are psychos so...
They don't actually stab anyone.
Almost "operatic".
Took me a minute to realize that this was about Hazbin Hotel, not luxury fashion.
😅😅😅
If it wasn't for that, I would have been completely befuddled by this post.
I have seen that show around BS.
So What is the current Date in the show? I mean they Did say Age Mid-40s
So Yeah. Valentino not a minor.
https://fxtwitter.com/FNFestival/status/1731398051242086714?lang=ar
Shame on these rotten assholes 🤬🤬🤬
Valentino is one of the antagonists from the show who isnt a great character (written that way)
However, thinking my intent was to portray him as silly and cute is just wild considering the last frame being entirely aggressive and violent
Thank you for addressing it
I’d buy it if I have the chance 🥺💜
But thank you for caring 🫂
Joel, Blake and I all three put our care and consideration into this piece. I'm hugely grateful to Joel. If not for him, I wouldn't have had such an opportunity.
Joel intended as much care behind this as I
It’s an amazing piece. Please don’t take even a smidgen of bad-faith criticism to heart.
God, this makes me angry. Much respect to you and also to Joel, who I’m sure has had his fair share of crazies. 😩
For what it's worth, this former IRL Angel Dust is very glad both this print, and you, exist. 💗
I sure as hell give you all high praise for great characters.
completely fine
Genuinely enjoying the downright horrible actions he's done or not seeing them as problematic in an irl context:
not fine, what is wrong with you
I've been through Angels troubles. What about it was portrayed wrong? Abuse is abuse. it's not pretty
It’s ridiculous that I already had one anti insist that people SHOULD have to disclose their trauma. Disgusting trauma vultures. At least they make it easy to block them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
