So, why upgrade at all?
I upgrade when a new iOS version doesn't support my model anymore.
So it should last about 6 year. Went from a 8 Plus to a 15 Plus last year.
I have no need at all to upgrade in between.
They’re victims of their own success. They’ve gotten so good at fitting the best possible chips into a hand sized device that the two year upgrade cycle doesn’t make sense anymore. I’m skipping the upgrade at two years and replacing the battery instead, waiting for the fourth year to upgrade now.
iPhone 13 all the way! I was almost tempted to upgrade this year, but decided to hold off for at least one more...maybe longer. Hard to give up what turned out to be such a great device for the long haul!
Been using a Pixel 5, and never going back to expensive phones again. Free storage for photos forever unlimited! Free Gemini AI right on the phone.
Can do everything my old iPhone could and more. And it's 4 versions old!
$90. And latest OS.
If you have tons of more h enjoy Apple, or save.
I’m still on an iPhone 11, and it’s almost a bit too big to hold comfortably. So when it dies, I’ll be holding my next phone in two hands like a chipmunk 😶

At least my mother was happy when she inherited it - she didn't have to invest in anything for it. 🤣😂🤣

I'm vision impaired so more convenience for hands-free voice interaction would be the main selling points for me to upgrade.

(If chipmunks used phones…)
Plus with the new charger rules apple has to follow from the EU, better get some USB-C cables.
