Yea I was telling my mom it’s gonna take a month or 2 before people realize what’s happening when certain services dry up or people can’t make appointments because of the information silos. Right now to certain communities it’s just a stoppage of grants that go to trans people.

I am frustrated because of the vagueness and qualifications in the memo. With things like the line about to-the-extent-permitted-by-law, it's not clear what may or may not be on the chopping block, until some bureaucrat implements it, and then things may get rolled back as "no we didn't mean that"

in individual cases when the outrage is too much (e.g., the Tuskeegee Airmen matter). That allows Trump to make the story about his extension of mercy to his subjects (or at least one or two selected pardoned turkeys), while most of the horror proceeds.
