omg i havenβt thought about that in years. oh eddie. what a wonderful weirdo he is. (and clarence is now bigger than the bread truck that rescued him.)
A neighbor used to walk his dog, Missy. I adored Missy, and she loved me back. Never found out his name. When they'd stop for a chat, I always said Hello Missy...Hi human. Totally get it.
Aside from the misspelling of Conor, as is correct in Irish and Scots, the kitty gets to keep the moniker. He catches and eats mice. Bet the human one canβt.
I wonder if @jortsthecat.bsky.social has ever had to deal with a human coworker of the same name. βHuman Jorts?β Maybe the naming protocol could be a subject of bargaining for all cat workers.

After all.
He's theoretically been at the company in cat years longer than Human Connor will be there in normal years

You would reach more people, when you add a good description into the Alt-text field.
That is pretty easy, especially, when your image just contain text.
This way, you support visually impaired people and everyone else, who rely on a good filled Alt-text.

Needed some levity, this is a great story!
