Wyatt: “What makes a man like Ringo, Doc?
What makes him do the things he does?”
Doc: “A man like Ringo has got a great big hole, right in the middle of him. He can never kill enough, or steal enough, or inflict enough pain to ever fill it.”
This is the laziest obituary. No mention of Tombstone - which Doc Holiday is one of his greatest roles. No mention of his art work or his studio. No mention of the documentary he did a couple years ago, literally called “Val”.
Oh my god. This is so shocking and heartbreaking. Val was one of my favorite actors. Brilliant, magnetic, & dynamic in every role. Total scene stealer in the best way. Val in Top Secret! will forever be a fav. Oh man..gone way too soon. I wish this wasn’t true. Rest in peace. Absolutely gutted💔 🕊️🙏🏼
"One year, they got pretty jammed up at the semi-annual Lincoln's Birthday sale, and they asked me to help out in Pre-Teen Maternity." https://youtu.be/umEB3KG9Ydw
What a childhood --
"his neighbors were Roy Rogers and Dale Evans and his high school classmates were Kevin Spacey and Mare Winningham. His [parents] divorced when Val was 9. His younger brother Wesley drowned in a swimming pool in 1977"
I'm really sad to read that. He was one of my favorite actors and an incredibly interesting individual. Health issues are so draining, and he had to fight them for a long time. I have a lot of respect for how he handled that adversity. RIP.
Val Kilmer's passing at 65 is a tremendous loss for the film industry. With a career spanning over four decades, he left an indelible mark on Hollywood. Who can forget his iconic roles in "Top Gun," "The Doors," and "Batman
"The Ghost and the Darkness" he played the main character. Great thriller / horror movie from the 90s depicting the true story of the African Man Eater Lions of Savo. An under rated film and one of his under rated best movies.

Doc: “Revenge.”
Wyatt: “For what?”
Doc: “Bein’ born.”

Tell me you didn't do your homework without telling me you didn't do your homework.
