I'm autistic and ADHD and I can't tell you what a HUUGE difference noise cancelling headphones have made for me. I started wearing them just to take work calls, but now I keep them on for hours!
I can work and focus for SO much longer as soon as I put them on and I feel so much more at peace!

Maybe you would feel more aligned with sensory seeking!?
I might have to try those noise canceling ones!
My main issues with headphones is that it usually press my ears too much and because I have glasses it gets painful quick, are those type of headphones good on that part?
These are what i personally vibed with: https://www.amazon.com/soundcore-Cancelling-Headphones-Bluetooth-Transparency/dp/B0C3HCD34R/ref=asc_df_B0C3HCD34R?mcid=ef515f3e81413151b084680abf4302be&hvocijid=6330287324627910893-B0C3HCD34R-&hvexpln=73&tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=730434204848&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=6330287324627910893&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9007258&hvtargid=pla-2281435181258&th=1

The only downside I’ve experienced is now I get overstimulated waaaay faster without them compared to before I started using them.
The silence was so peaceful
And I was like...I wonder if that'd work for meee...
And I once sat next to a table of about 10 tween age girls at Starbucks. Worth every penny.
I have real high end regular phones now. Non noise cancel but they are loud enough. Not enough for table of tweenies.
When I first started using mine (bose earbuds) I started noticing how much time I spent minimizing (for no good reason) the amount of noise I made. Prolly a trauma thing
But anyway my earbuds broke a couple days ago and bose wants 3 weeks to ship new ones 😳
