Thanksgiving challenge! What’s something that you never thought you’d be grateful for but today you are?
Me: I’m thankful for being arrested in 2014. It propelled me to get clean from a 14yr opioid addiction. Clean 10-years now.
But I’m REALLY grateful for the friends and family who support me.

Checked myself into rehab, three hours later still waiting for a bed I asked my father who had passed away to help me, and from that moment on, I never had another drink.
I’m sending all my love to you and to and to her. Let’s take each day at a time, like they do.

I’m thankful my sister was warped & bloodthirsty when I was a kid. Surviving her myriad of illnesses resulted in a suite of skills that I adore about me… honesty, accountability, keen intuition, resilience & righteous respect for the ones who love me back.

Being single. It let me focus on my kids and helped me be the mom they needed.
They are grown now so who knows. Maybe I will find someone I want to grow old with 🤷🏻♀️

Me: I am thankful that our call center closed. I work in a outpatient clinic. I am more appreciated than any previous employment.

Mine is to not settle with a few relationships in my past. I am now with the person who fits me perfectly.

Later, during COVID, as I isolated with her & dad, I decided to just enjoy her. I spent 2 years with her WFH. Despite what was happening, it was the best time I had.
I'm very thankful I did both.
