Same reaction. I kept saying “this reminds me of early phish”, then found out the lyrics were from way back. So cool, amazing out of the gate and tons of potential 🤤
Yeah technically not a Phish song but you might not know that unless you were into small-time hyper-local Finish/Swedish indie bands in the early 80s. I'll allow it.
@sethadam1.bsky.social From the perspective of songwriting, it’s probably Lonely Trip. From the perspective of yams, Ruby Waves. For me personally, which might be a combo of the two categories plus my attendance bias, it’s Light.
Came here to say ruby waves or ocelot but they’ve already been said so even though it’s only been played like 3 times imma say What’s Going Through Your Mind and hope it ages well in a few years.
I was hooked on What’s Going Through Your Mind the minute I heard it. The chorus vocals still needs a little work but it’s pretty awesome. Mercury is also up there for me.

That’s okay, there will be more shows in the near(ish) future
Mind mind mind mind mind mind……
It’s waaaay too early to say for sure, but I think Monsters (live) is building a case as well. My honest answer is it’s impossible to choose one.
(I'm a middle aged Dad, you leave me be)
But wait a minute, the answer is obviously Wombat.
Wombat is the best post-2009 song.
Jam vehicle not easy but I gotta go with Ruby Waves bc according to me best jams of 2019 and 2023 were RW jams

What's Going Through Your Mind
Best new jam vehicle, maybe Ruby Waves or Wave of Hope.
Night. That song is cool as hell… on the album.)
