Honestly I applaud this move. Relying on corporate interest to align with state interest indefinitely is a recipe for disaster. We saw this with Starlink in Ukraine when the severed access during a key counter offensive.

Yeah. Most European nations are canceling US weapons contracts in droves as well, due to perceived unreliability- if Trump refuses to allow spare parts for example, the equipment becomes useless. Not what we need when facing down Russia on our own
