In an increasingly franchise dependent film landscape, it’s up to us to convince studios to take risks on original films, and up to US to turn out to see original films. The worst outcome of showing up is maybe seeing a bad movie, the worst of never showing up is permitting more corporate slop.
Pedro Pascal himself could walk up to me, stare me in the face and tell me he voiced Fink and I still wouldn't believe it he's that good. Legit thought they hired Jason Bateman to play another fox character.
Keep in mind that the movie will not be released in Japan until February 7th, 2025 so there’s still more time for the film to make more money in the worldwide box office.
So beautifully animated and such a beautiful story, absolutely loved it! If there ever is a DVD published, I’ll definitely buy it!

Such a brilliant film (and brilliant books as well. The Wild Robot is as close as Dreamworks have ever got to reaching the quality of the best Pixar films

Hopefully Shrek 5 doesn’t fail us
I loved Inside Out 2 also, but if this film had their marketing budget, the film could have been in the $600 million range.
The Wild Robot is simply a lovely film that wears its heart and emotions proudly.
My favorite movie outta this whole year, honestly.
