E-trike has flattened the hills in South Wales, it's improved my mental health, costs nothing and has helped me re-engage with nature along the beautiful off-road national cycle route I get to travel on. ❤️
It’s healthy
It’s good for the planet
It’s sociable
It’s convenient
I’m very glad about this now. Positively life changing and I’ve never got the train to work since.

Once you've decided to walk every day, you need to dress for all weathers, and once you're dressed appropriately, cycling was just faster than walking.
And then the rides just kept getting longer, and I became a "cyclist".
Office 1
Bike 25 mIns free / bus 40 mins £2 / tram 30 mins £3 (all single)
Office 2
Bike 25 mins free / bus 1 hour £2
No tram or train option
Keeping fit, no stress, no parking costs, better mental health and quicker 👍
It's about saving money & time. Few people who would ride if it was safe REALLY care enough about emissions to change mode
Bike+train takes the same time as driving. Driving would cost nearly £5k a year vs £3480 (£3k bike cost) for 1st yr/£480 after.
Better health.
Less stressful.
Open air and scenery.
Cheaper.
Cons:
Punctures.
The bike is just as fast or faster than the car. Doesn’t pollute, saves cash and keeps me fit
