I hate that it’s mostly kids getting sick they had no say on getting lifesaving vaccines it’s their childish MAGA believe every lie they hear parents who are putting them at risk.
They are holding school funding hostage—forcing schools to choose between protecting children’s lives or keeping their doors open. Preventable diseases will spread, kids will suffer, and lives will be lost—all for political theater. This is state-sanctioned negligence. It must not stand. 🌗✨
I can’t imagine ANY parent doing this to their child! Disgusting.
So happy my parents (immigrants from Zimbabwe) vaccinated me 53 years ago! I vaccinated my two (34 and 27) and my daughter vaccinated my granddaughter (9)!
I know a woman whose mom was afraid of the water & wouldn't let her learn to swim.
She was out on a boat with a friend's family as a teen and almost drowned when she fell in. When her friend's dad found out, he taught her how to tread water that day.
After he told her mom she grounded her. 🙄😒

For measles, R0 is often cited to be 12-18, which means that each person with measles would, on average, infect 12-18 other people in a totally susceptible population.
Those poor kids whose parents have either fallen victim to anti-vax lies or willingly chose to believe vaccines don’t work despite decades of proof. Now do they see why making & taking a vaccine was so important? This disease is preys upon children. It’s contagious 4 days before a rash even shows up
The greatest if great ironies of 2025 is more people will be horrified of how measles will make their child, vs how sick their child will be or that others might get sick, too.
Never realized an unknown disease would be able to be so deadly. What could we have done to keep this happening? Should've used those "space lasers"? (Snark) One positive thing is some of the adults will learn about consequences, but not before hurting others.
I had the measles. As a 5yr old, missing my first days of Kindergarten, running a fever of 104° for two days.
A girl down the street developed encephalitis. She died.
A pregnant woman months later delivered a stillborn.
1959.
A vaccine was made that STOPPED that.
