Had an OIA on the Marsden decisions land. This appears to be the ground zero and the level of thinking Collins put into gutting humanities funding. I have found no actual *advice* or analysis on the removal of humanities panels and literally zero engagement with Royal Society or Universities.

Collins really is the lowest of the low...she always seemed a horrible person, and now we can be sure she is.
Still, this does prove she has no regard for evidence...so not sure how that stacks up with being a lawyer.
What an arrogant prat.
21/22 is plenty old enough to know how to do one's job...
Put another way, other schemes might be "directed" (if appropriate), but not Marsden.
It also suggests a lack of understanding of how valuable science (incl. economically valuable) is developed.
One consistent attribute of right wing politicians is their prioritisation of personal belief (I wouldn’t even go so far to call it ideology, I think that gives them an level of consideration they don’t have) over analysis. The act of analysis itself, they see as ‘quibbling’
"Under section 16(2) of the OIA my preferences are (a) to receive a copy of the whole document, and (b) that the information is disclosed in a text searchable format, either docx, pptx, or PDF."
