That is not how court orders work. If YOU are subject to the court's jurisdiction you need to obey the order even if you aren't in the country at the moment. There's no "i went to international waters so now I can violate the order" exception.

This is outrageous. Judge Boasberg’s order went against government agencies which were in the US, and which were in direct contact with the plane. He must hold them in contempt of court.

WHAT RULE OF LAW
My god we’re in straight of Maxims Of Equity territory
"INTERNATIONAL. ORDERS."
(pause)
"Very well, agent. Carry on."
"INTERNATIONAL. WATERS."
(Actually "both" probably isn't good, if the orders are coming from Putin.)
Trump's not even calling in the AAA league at this point?
At some point, some judge has to levy serious sanctions. I'd venture Boasberg is now as incensed as Judge Alsup. Could contempt and/or sanctions be in the offing?

Depends who said it.
“Well, counsel, unfortunately for you and your client, you are not.”
It ain’t gonna work.
In fact, a major factor in the US is ppl keep thinking it won't be that bad. And then it is. That's the "joke."
Might as well invest in black shirts otherwise
