I'd say for me it was the Wii because it was the first console that I owned and had a lot of solid memories playing with, but it's not like I hadn't touched video games before that 😅
Also, PS1.
Ended up getting the console with Medivel 2 which I never beat because it was too scary lmao
I think mine must've been an Atari 2600, unless you count the Z80 I coded my own games on...
First game Super Mario Bros
Mine was Game Boy with Tetris and Super Mario Land. It was a great start indeed.
First that was given to me was the og Grey Brick Gameboy
First console given to me was the og PlayStation. First I purchased form myself was the PSone (that smaller version of the original PlayStation)
First Personally owned: Gameboy color
Handheld: Nintendo Game & Watch (c.1980)
Owned: NES
But I didn't really get into video games until a few years later around age 5 or 6 when Mom took me to blockbuster and I got to rent my first video game of my choice... The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time.
It was over at that point.
Funny story below
Fast-forward to Xmas, and my parents bought me my own copy. Again, still had no idea what I was doing.
The first one I used aged like.. 4 or something.
My first owned thing was an OG Gameboy 6 years old for my birthday.
... Yeah, fine. I'm hitting level 40 soon, and I'm in total denial about it.
Not as cool as you 😅
At one point my relationship with it got so aggressive that I broke the joystick and had to replace it with a hammer handle. Surprisingly it still worked 😂
I started on the OG Nintendo.
We got it for Christmas and we also got the following games:
Dick Tracy
Pinball
Jim Henson's Muppet Adventure: Chaos at the Carnival
Fun House
Wrestlemania
Most of those games suck but getting the system was awesome.
