I've been waiting for this particular hit. I've had a diabetic cat for the last 2 years. His vial of insulin generally lasts 6 weeks, cost me $83 each vial. I'm going to need to get a new vial in about 3 weeks.

I have an English bulldog who has a high class palate. She will turn her nose up to food that isn't fresh (like a bag that has been open for more than 3 days). We have to bribe her to eat. She's going to have to learn to love food as much as I love her.

My snowflake also barfs up prescription food leaving her at risk for bleeding ulcers, so we get the bonus of giant emergency vet and prescription bills.

Oof! Everything's expensive enough already, without all this bullshit sending prices into hyperdrive.
The stuff we get is close to $200 a month already for our two dogs, but it's Australian made and we're in Aotearoa New Zealand, so hopefully it won't be affected too much by the fuckery.
