And I'm afraid I will not greatly be with you for #ConfinedCocktails due to further theatring but I'm having a single g&t in a vat already, so never fear.

A bottle of port was mysteriously open, so I’m having a small* glass. Not pictured: accompanying felafels. Cheers! #ConfinedCocktails

Also very late to #ConfinedCocktails, but it's a simple 14 yo Glenmorangie chez nous: bottle removed from under my mum's sink during the clear-out. We'll replace it for the friend I have no doubt it was meant for...
Behind again. A Paulaner to start #ConfinedCocktails with. And some roasted nuts to keep me going. A Waitrose recipe with butter, honey, paprika, rosemary and thyme
I’m very late tonight #ConfinedCocktails but tonight is long: the finale of Sanremo, the festival of Italian song will last a lot! Cranberry martin on a themed coaster. Cheers!
This was a terrible decision for a pre theatre dinner. Duck that turned out to be fried, and this vat of fizz. I'm going to nod off before act 2 of Cymbeline.
So.... depends how well you know it,I reckon. Very nigh concept which is making a confusing play more confusing. Baffled first timers abound but I'm having fun.
I sent my first comment halfway through and it does get clearer as it progresses. A lot of the problem is the actual play text tbf but they've gender swapped two roles which occasionally makes it seem like there's another theme you might be missing.
Whose production is it? Cymbeline does seem to attract the high concept (the only production I’ve seen I gave up half way through, although it was a screening so cheap tickets)
The Globe. Sort of Mad Max vibe and a couple of key gender swaps. Unfortunately I think the storytelling gets stronger later but some people definitely lost by then.
Second play, the Sam Wanamaker Cymbeline, is a tremendous production (music, lighting, style). Play less so, but they've done something interesting with it. A bit of a shame it's tough to get into the first half hour, I think a lot of people are lost by then.
Though, having been reminded by this excellent production just how creepy the scene that follows is, I somewhat withdraw my endorsement. At least it kept me awake.
Beer and snacks, pie in oven, zoom supper with The Oracle shortly. Young Archaeologists went well this morning, spent the afternoon trying to get to a final version of my archives zine about Riseholme, Lincs. Tonight’s tv is sh*te so far. #ConfinedCocktails
Cymbeline, I must say, does not sound like ideal post food and booze fare, so hope it’s a good production. As promised, I have a Naked & Famous. #ConfinedCocktails

It's not the easiest but I'm enjoying doing it.
