I reckon they will treat it the same way UKIP treated the European parliament. Offer nothing constructive and just take the opportunity to spread lies and criticise everyone else

Don't we need some patience? 14 years of austerity, then Brexit caused many of the problems, yet people will say Labour hasn't done enough. Is it realistic or is the cautious progress right?
It is early, but I'm concerned that they are being sidetracked trying to appease voters on issues like immigration and benefits. They risk completely alienating their core traditional voters. I don't think the climate is right for New Labour mark 2.
Having worked with local politicians many Labour councillors in urban areas are quite right wing when it comes to immigration. Are Labour getting credit for things like more doctors and NHS appointments?
See also NHS pay rises, closing of inheritance tax, VAT and non-dom loopholes etc. All very ‘Labour’ things that they don’t seem to be getting any credit for even from Labour voters. Not that I’m making any great claims but you can’t do everything at once.
Agree that they are doing some good things, but that message is not having any traction. It’s worrying that voters are willing to ignore that and go for something that will never benefit them or improve their lives.
Almost certainly not. The media just focus on the things that suit their agenda. I genuinely hope that Labour succeed, it just seems to me that they are lacking direction at the moment, and as a result, voters may lose confidence in them.
They seem obsessed with trying to keep everyone happy in case it loses them votes. They need to get back to some of their socialist roots or they will end up being seen as just a Tory-light party and losing the electorate anyway 🤷♂️
It's just starting - some old Tories in new clothing, right wingers, a few idealists and others attracted by change. They have a lot of work on their hands.
