Reform are panicking about people pointing out that they want to replace the NHS. So please don't share this clip of Nigel Farage saying he'd rather healthcare was done through insurance companies.

I’m American, so forgive me for offering my opinion as an outsider. PLEASE DO NOT HAVE HEALTH CARE THROUGH INSURANCE PROVIDERS!!! That’s what we have in the US and it sacrifices accessibility and cost to satisfy greed of the insurers (simplistic but true). Do your homework, be careful. Peace!
The UK's home-grown Trumpy Fascists, absurdly named the "Reform Party", want to do away with the UK's excellent National Health Service (NHS), which provides free health care. I know from extensive personal experience that the NHS does a very, VERY good job.
The NHS is doomed. It's currently in the hands of Wes Streeting, a man bought and paid for by private healthcare companies. Either way, its days are numbered.
Hello dear, I am from Gaza and we have been living in very harsh conditions for 15 months and we are trying to get rid of it. I have a donation campaign for my family. Please donate, share and bring joy to my family's heart. I will be very grateful to you 🙏🏻💜 Rosie
GB News: the "free speech" channel that only hears itself. From billionaire-backed climate denial to non-stop outrage, here’s how Britain’s “common sense” network became a Farage/Billionaire propaganda machine.
The UK's home-grown Trumpy Fascists, absurdly mis-named the "Reform Party", want to do away with the UK's excellent National Health Service (NHS), which provides free health care. I know from extensive personal experience that the NHS does a very, VERY good job.
Ofc they do. It's not really "free" but paid for by taxes, right? This "reform party" wants to pocket the money and lower the quality. Same bamboozle that happened with the Tea Party/"Libertarians" here.
The NHS is absolutely free to users. But nearly 80 million people live on the UK, so the NHS budget runs to billions of UK pounds, paid from the general UK Government revenues. So of course the Trumpy Fascists want to steal the money !!!
YES !!!! The UK's home-grown Trumpy Fascists, absurdly mis-named the "Reform Party", want to do away with the UK's excellent National Health Service (NHS), which provides free health care. I know from extensive personal experience that the NHS does a very, VERY good job.
UK Voters are getting warned off the UK's home-grown Trumpy Fascists, absurdly named the "Reform Party", who want to do away with the UK's excellent National Health Service (NHS), which provides free health care. I know from personal experience that the NHS does a very, VERY good job.
Yes - you are correct- our NHS does a fantastic job. However, it isn't free. Tax payers pay for it through contributions to our National Insurance every month.
This is what happens when you gain *real* popularity.
When you're UKIP, with no hope, you can spout whatever bollocks you want.
When you're Reform, and sitting higher up in the polls, people begin to scrutinise your policies.
They don't like what you support and say.
Your NI does not go on the NHS – it’s just a misleadingly-named extra income tax. Your road tax does not go on the roads. Your air passenger duty does not go on emissions mitigation.
Are these trump's or putin's health care companies? I ask because they have different paths with similar goals: trump will bankrupt you then kill you, putin will skip bankruptcy.
Remember, in Russia there will always be a large window for effective treatment 🫡
So they’re saying out loud what Streeting & Starmer are already doing behind closed doors? Perhaps you should start parodying how Reform are bizarrely more honest than McSweeney’s Labour party
He is a total idiot. Insurance companies cover the bills for health care but not the infrastructure or the training. Without they have this system in Germany. As always frog faced Nigel says things he doesn't understand.
I give you a bunch of normal countries with some form of national healthcare system versus an outlier where healthcare is a mechanism for insurance companies to extract money from the population. And I offer the suggestion that Nigel Farage should f**k off.
If you download the single graph, it shows some surprises.
1) UK isn't doing that badly for its money compared to others.
2) US has actually got cheaper & improved over the past years (but is still lousy).
3) Despite their love of sake, Japan has longest lifespan (where's Norway gone?)
I was going to list the few over 80yr life expectancy, but there are 54, of which the peak is Monaco, at 86.36.
Of course that's reflective of the ££ abounding, but what is noticeable from the table is that UK falls some way behind many EU countries eg.Ned 82, Ita 83.72, Fra 83.33, and most of EEA.
I can't believe there are people out there that call all politicians liars, but say that this duplicitous charlatan isn't a liar, or is somehow better or worthy or a chance in charge of the country.
Speaking as someone working for the NHS for the last 20 years who has seen considerable improvements in the last 7 months, waiting lists dropping rapidly etc, this statement is total bobbins. You believe what you want to though.
340,000 people go bankrupted in the USA EVERY YEAR because of medical debts
1 in 7 people who are in medical debt in the USA are refused access to doctors or medical assistance
These debts were put on their credit score till Biden stopped it
These figures are from USA government sources
Don't see any evidence from Labour which leads me to believe they want to move away from a service that's free at the point of care. Maybe you know something I don't.
You're absurdly misinformed. The UK Labour Party is 100% committed to keeping the National Health Service (NHS ) in place, and free to users. The UK's Trumpy Fascists, absurdly misnamed the "Reform Party", want to do away with the NHS. The NHS does a very, VERY good job. "Reform" doesn't care.
This is just buzzword bingo. It doesn't change the fact that they're steadily privatising more and more of the services in the NHS. When the NHS is used to funnel public money into private pockets, costs increase and patient care suffers.
they are privatising our NHS by stealth, as we speak,
you can use the 'free to users' tag as much as you like, at some point they'll start saying we need to pay for doctor's appointments and go on from there.
Starmer and Streeting have both taken 'donations' from private healthcare companies
Parlons d'être naïf, vous n'avez évidemment pas lu ce que Streeting a dit précédemment, mais continuez à vous leurrer, que le NHS est en sécurité sous Starmer
Using the Private Sector is not the same as doing away with free universal health care and replacing it with an insurance based system the same as the US, where most average people can't afford it, and 1000s are declared bankrupt because of it each year.
I'm a lifeling labour voter, but going green in the local and general elections. Due to labour direction of travel, Would have done so last time, but voted Labour to GTTO. Now it's Tory 2.0. Some good things defo, but tsxing the wealthy, nhs, immigration and winter fuel not so much.
Anyone who thinks Farage has a point, Google cancer care costs in America and the number of health care costs’ related bankruptcies there. We let Farage and Reform anyway near the #NHS at our peril.
VERY TRUE !!!!! The UK's home-grown Trumpy Fascists, absurdly mis-named the "Reform Party", want to do away with the UK's excellent National Health Service (NHS), which provides free health care. I know from extensive personal experience that the NHS does a very, VERY good job.
My daughter gave that a go, against my advice. Then she got back trouble and tried to claim. No, no said a bean-counter, it’s nowhere near serious enough. The thing is, decisions are not clinical but financial. She’s back with the NHS now. Poorer and wiser. And back treated.
This guy is the English clone of Trump. Opens his mouth and burps out whatever wind happens to be swirling round his hateful intestines at any given time.
Using USA as an example we would then have the most expensive healthcare system in the world (17% of GDP V 12% UK) and the shortest lifespans ( USA 77 years, UK 81 years) doesn't look very attractive to me!
Free, good quality healthcare is a human right, but our current model isn’t working. We need to consider whether best elements from elsewhere are more sustainable. If this means some level of (mutual) insurance, as in France, we need to consider if it provides better outcomes for future generations.

Farage, Tice and Reform want to make the UK's NHS the same as US healthcare. What fool would want that?

That's not a typo.

That's what national insurance is paid for.
Maybe if grifters like Farage actually paid their taxes, we wouldn't be in such a shit state....

Insurance ..... exactly the same
Farage can jog on.

A warning from Mark Ruffalo, based on his conversations with Musk. ⬇️
Also question how Reform’s core policy of scrapping net zero benefits Musk.

What Fargle wants is a bucket. You pay in, get ill, and you're told you're not covered. And keep paying.
