what I propose is simple: Federal Daylight Savings Day, a full 25- and 23-hour block on each side of DST, in which it is illegal to anything except lie down and scroll on one's phone or maybe play a "light" game like Mario 2
I think we just need better timezones that take the path of the sun into account more. Like Michigan would benefit from having DST all year round rather than switching to Standard Time.
There should be some law, that companies are required to give longer lunch breaks during this time of the year, so that way we at least get to see the sun a little during the week.
