Nothing has changed. It astounds me how many med professionals I encounter who don’t know what Long COVID is. I credit the president-elect with politicizing the pandemic and the current administration with saying “it’s over.” Not over. Not by half.

I have been sick for 2 weeks with a virus. I went to hospital last Sunday to make sure i didn’t have pneumonia or bronchitis. I had blood test , xray, ultrasound and ecg . But no covid test. That says everything. They dont bother unless elderly

Last month, I caught Covid at the hospital while staying with one of my kids who was hospitalized with bacterial pneumonia.

Sweden took that to the extreme early in the pandemic. Nice, clean propaganda numbers. But a huge and unexplainable spike in deaths from "heart failure" or "respiratory disease".

I had 8 surgical procedures last year and all but one I had to unmask bc of sedation. 4 MRIs where they fought me on wearing a Readimask so I had a a surgical w no nose wire so basically a loose tissue on the face. Thankfully still noVID, but one day I won't be so lucky.

I can't help thinking that maybe if the Tories hadn't spent a decade trying to destroy and defund the NHS maybe there would have been enough staff that there wouldn't have been the worry of being so understaffed which just made the whole situation worse and lead to them putting patients last.
