One of reasons I fear slippery slope into eugenics with assisted dying policies is how little outrage there is when disabled people are harmed
When DNRs are put on us without consent. When - like Stephanie Lavoie - we’re denied the care we need to survive & do MAiD instead
No one speaks up for us

Or if the governments actually gave a shit about poor people. Seniors, disabilities...
Again I don't begrudge people the right to die - but at least listen to us, hear our concerns and try and make it safe for everyone. Because it's been proven time and time again that these policies harm disabled people.
Until we evolve to an understanding that all lives are equal, deserve dignity & choice, we’re failing.
i want to fight...
This means that some people with disabilities who cannot communicate with agency by themselves are not candidates - and the slippery slope pseudo-argument is debunked. Doesn't happen.
"It's going to take a generation to die off before the crisis comes to an end".

as the US system stands, it’s still a slippery slope. other countries aren’t perfect, and the US will never BE other countries.
someone else can do rocket science but i sure can’t.
I have friends who are very sick and do not want assistance in exiting now.
When the time comes it would be reassuring to know I’d have an exit choice..we don’t know until we are there..I guess.
No need to worry, your HCWs will gleefully assist in killing you

Why are we taking the easy (and cheap) way out instead?
These people wanted to live - but were forced to suffer.
We must do better.
We are full into eugenics
Physicians who applied MAID were interviewed “One person said administering the lethal drugs causes for them ‘an urgent and pressing need for sex.’ Utterly vile” and depraved stuff.
