I took the mic & pointed this out & that police had been ticketing cyclists in High Park. I asked folks to imagine if this kind of police effort were directed at road safety instead of us. Within a block I pulled over & ticketed. This wasn’t about safety this was about intimidation.

Isn't that at St George and Bloor? The no right on red clearly says BICYCLES EXCEPTED.
Can you trash tickets? Like couldn't a warrant for your arrest for unpaid tickets be issued. Or does it not matter without a drivers' license

Really important to make clear that they chose to ticket at that moment instead of waiting another ~30m so the protest could clear the intersection, which blocked car traffic with people on bikes and increased the likelihood of confrontation.
