"It doesn't work" isn't even responding at the correct level, really. As with most things, what AI is for is what it actually does, not what the brochure says it does—i.e., how well it supports the present era's ideological project of supporting the emancipation of capital from labour.

This training towards atomization, deskilling, and semiliteracy—enough to work but not enough to parse symbolism, irony, or contradiction—combined with increased precarity and resulting overwork, it's not something AI introduces. That's just a description of how it already is. AI is an accelerant.
