The amount of hate that still exists around the second game is unreal. Those people want show watchers to join their hateful misery.

I started reading A Song of Ice and Fire after the Red Wedding was spoiled for me. Then someone STILL managed to spoil "The Door" after it aired early on HBO Nordic; in fact, they did it in a reply to Liam Cunningham's tweet warning people to avoid spoilers! Some folks are just jerks.

I do think it was probably the people who hated part 2 and gave up on it after that scene who tried to spoil it. I wanted to see genuine reactions from tv watchers after playing the game, to see if the show could evoke those same feelings. Having it spoiled for them spoils that for us

They’re different media. When a new adaptation in a new medium is started well after the original, it’s basic human decency to not START posting spoilers. If spoilers are out there from 2013, fine. But posting them in 2025 is just obnoxious.

I’m talking about a very specific thing, which was people all through Season 1 and the lead-up to Season 2 being like “don’t get too attached to Joel btw.” I don’t care if people talk about what happens in an episode that has aired.

I did spoil it for people that played the first game but that was before the show was even announced and I asked them if it was okay. Would be a real dick move to spoil something like that.

The people that spoiled the show are the same ones that hated last ep 2 because they hated the fact a woman was the one that did it. Real fans of the game would never knowingly spoil the show.
