Oh this should have been a top contender - this is what they called Joe Arapaio's camps in the desert when he was unlawfully detaining and harassing people.
the @nytimes.com lacks imagination, while at the same time managing to lack journalistic integrity, intellectual honesty, or really any qualities other than those of a world class bird cage liner
This reminded me of Sean Spicer calling Nazi concentration camps "Holocaust centers." I forgot that the context was the first Trump administration condemning Assad's use of chemical weapons, which seems out of step with Trump 2 nominating Tulsi Gabbard to serve as DNI.
If you've ever goog maps Guantanamo, you'd know that it's no where near big enough infrastructuraly to handle a thousand migrants let alone hundreds of thousands. So these people are going to be kept in tent villages right in the path of hurricane alley.
Lets get this straight, people who are a working, paying taxes & spending wages in the US are going to be put in camps at no cost to themselves, fed at no cost to themselves & possibly flown out of US at no cost to themselves all on a whim of a Felon & paid for out of taxes.?
Honestly, charging each detainee for those costs* and then refusing to release anyone until they’ve paid off the debt** is absolutely something I can see happening.

"Tent City" or "Shanty Town" sound pretty nice if you know nothing about what they are. Kinda like "Water Boarding at Guantanamo Bay" sounds nice if you don't know.

It would make so much more sense than millions of people letting this mass murderer bake and starve Latinos for 24 years.
