Never got those that often. I bought a few cassettes in the 80s, but don't remember big fold outs. I mostly bought albums in the 70s and 80s, but even then, so many didn't have the lyrics included. π‘

Foreigner 4 and I remember I found it in a school hallway that someone dropped and lost. Friends would asked to see it like cavemen handling a papyrus. Had a friend with a tape player that was notorious for munching cassettes it was always a sure argument to risk playing it there. πππ€ͺ
No other medium has forced you listen to an album from one side to the other end to end. Rewinding was always a bit of a guessing game. Vinyl you can lift the needle, other formats since press a button. Cassettes were albums in their purest form.
Yes! And the pictures were always a bonus. CDs had these as well. #Tool will always be one of my favorites.

I DO I DO!!!!! I wore out so many of those over the years memorizing lyrics. And yes, I'm practically blind now from doing that and even CD booklets...
