When a class have got independent reading time, try to sit with the children and read alongside them. Share the book you're reading, talk about why you're enjoying it and ask them about their choices. The impact on attitudes to reading will be massive. Organising the glue tray can wait.

Audiobooks are reading. Graphic novels are reading.
They can also be key access routes to conventional books for neurodivergent people.
I would be considering specific learning difficulties - dyslexia, and visual processing disorder.
And underlying vision issues such as Irlens/visual stress.
Also, the vision issues could very well be a contributing factor. Make sure she see’s your joy of reading and her love of reading may return.
Speak to your librarians as well!
I will speak to our group of youth librarians when I am back in the office next week. Many are former teachers. They are a fab team and should have some advice.
Sharing recommendations and opinions is a good follow-up towards the end of time.
