I’m down with this idea! I started adding cream cheese to mine. The idea came to me when I didn’t have milk. Gives it a nice tangy and creamier texture.
It is. Next time cook the noodles in chicken broth instead of water. Save some of the broth when you drain the macaroni and use in place of the butter and/or milk. You won't believe how good it is.
There are two ways to look at this and both have you coming out a champion: 1. Meal specificity is a social construct and rejecting its constraints is necessary to anticapitalism and 2. You cannot be contained by labels and your creativity is indulgent and abundant.
Grits - I've had grits in Garibaldi Square at 4 am in Distrito Federal - the best POZOLE can be had and the grits are exactly what I love about a big giant corn kernel in a broth so flavourful, my mouth waters just thinking about it.
At least you're eating something. I struggle with breakfast. When I had a dietician they were generally annoyed, they're all like "This is essential" and I'm like "aw fuck I just can't".
First they post pictures on Bluesky of skies that decidedly not blue, then we're making Kraft dinner for breakfast; what's next? Lunchables for dinner???
technically breakfast just means you’re “breaking the fast,” assuming you slept for the last 6-10 hours of course. breakfast can be anything, even just a protein shake 🤷🏻♂️
I believe you get to eat whatever you want at whatever time you want (I assume you're talking about adults here)

Not even my Northern MN wife has ever called it Kraft Dinner so I just figured you had to go further north to find that phrase. :-)
