It actually takes back to what Transgender Surgeries back in the 1900s.
It may have a cis actor, but it's incredibly captivating as a narrative imo.
For real tho, one of my top films from last year, up there with Love Lies Bleeding (my favorite from 2024) and I Saw the TV Glow 💖
That's not ok in the slightest and I don't condone that.
However, many of those in Hollywood have done the same with few to zero consequences.
