Wow you would have a good point if we weren’t such a gerrymandered state and didn’t have some of the worst voter suppression
North Carolina voters ARE smart; they are also disenfranchised
Do better

after 1st trump shooting, they'd listened to so much maga crap (wont say what/who), unilaterally decided 2ghost me tho never talked politics.
We're frequently told about voter apathy, but not enough about voter suppression.
Lessons for us all.
"Thank you" to yourself also.
A great many of us are very concerned as to how the US has reached this point. We are not immune from it either, as people with similar mindsets to Trumps enablers are extremely active within our politics & media.
The whole Southern ‘you think you’re better than me’ insecurity thing is just lame. Plenty of dummies up here too. No one said anything about the South.
I live in a bright blue bubble. Across the river is a sea of red. You want to know who we learn from? Who are the most effective organizers? Who we partner with for leadership? The Dems in that sea of red, because they know how to fight hard and smart.
But yeah, this is all because southerners are stupid, or whatever. 🙄
Yet people believe “oh voters will just retaliate.”
They. Already. Are.
Gerrymandering & suppression work.
Folks in NC and across the South are leading on addressing the climate crisis at the root of this issue. Ex below

I wonder what happened to change his mind...
Gerrymandering suppresses votes for federal elections when on the same ballot.
Harris outperformed Biden’s 2020 NC vote but still lost the state—that’s how suppression relates to federal policy.
True in GA too.
It’s also very misleading to compare swing and secure states for averages & sum stats. It tends to obscure major differences.
