Good I cant wait for the implosion during the next administration when the democratic president fires every single member of the FTC,NLRB, and MSPB. Getting rid of Humphreys Ex would complete the transition into kakistocracy

There will not be any more elections for President.
The bill in the House gives him more power over courts.
He removed the Election Commission.
There is no way Republicans or King Trump give up power to Dems ever again. Yes, the Constitution is a thing, who will enforce his removal?
We are already a fascist dictatorship. There is no voting, there is no opposition party. They're already building the gulags. SCOTUS stopping Trump is the only option left.
Continuing to increase the size of SCOTUS finally forces republicans to a compromise. They're not going to have 50 SCOTUS members. Scotus members should be rotated in and out every two years by lottery from the 13 districts. Only fair way to do it.
That's always the fear mongered response to court expansion. Despite it being changed multiple times in US history. If dems can actually win in purple and red states in 26 and 28, then it's more than possible. Other countries aren't going to take us seriously if we don't have significant reform.
Those things would require a constitutional amendment. Especially if you plan on forcing current justices off the court (applying it only to future justices would make this problem WORSE).
If you cannot avoid drinking a poison, then the safest thing to do is dilute it as much as possible.
Expand SCOTUS to 340 million seats so that its current roster (of whom only one is arguably of any value to a humanist society, sup Jackson, sorry to do you like this) can eat shit until they die.
By using the Shadow Docket, that's exactly what they did. Trump gets to fire them all, they get to sue and sit in limbo until the SC actually gets a case pushed up and in two years they limit it. In the mean time, Trump replaces them all with cronies or just doesn't. Win-win for them.

That’s a race that cannot be won without supermajority to amend the constitution.
If we say 11, they’ll say 13, then we go 15, etc
The core of our problems is that a significant portion of the voting population prefers a felon rapist traitor #krasnov to an earnest alternative
“Term” limits (13-17 years or so) or mandatory retirement age (71 or so) is something I could support
