Trying to correct the formatting when multiple coworkers have worked on and cut into a document to make the bullets all look the same is the biggest hassle
I just use it to type text without any formatting and whatever, so I guess I'd just copy it to txt? I like it for the ability to create chaos and still keep it under control. And of course that nothing ever needs to be saved
When writing a draft, Notepad++ is the plain text workhorse you need. If your computer explodes, or your battery dies, your stuff will be right there. You can save your documents to the cloud AND to c: and it takes almost no room. When done, just copypasta into the app of your choice.
OneDrive is such a piece of shit. The first computer I got with OneDrive I tried to tell it which directories I did or didn't want mirrored to OneDrive. It responded by deleting from my hard drive everything I didn't want mirrored. If I hadn't had the copies that I was setting up the new computer...
Wondering why it matters if you are online or not for a word processor and then feeling immense pain. I have managed to avoid the cloudification of office by dent of being cheap.

That's why I stopped using (auto cloud save) OneDrive on my work computer for a long time afterwards. 😬
