It just seems like a consistently large portion of people have no clue wtf is going on. Of the subset who saw it, I think in those specific cases a majority portion likely thought those were "the bad protestors" because mfkrs love the taste of boot.

I don't know how to solve it other than rigorous fact checking either, because it turns out that the human brain is really bad at remembering when exactly things happened if they don't have events in their own lives to tie the event back to, and covid really screwed with our sense of time.
