I think phrasing it this way and attacking people who do it is wrong. It seems like this would be about fear. It shouldn't be shamed. Fear is a powerful feeling and we're all susceptible to it. Some people are weaker, some are stronger. Maybe we should just praise those who are brave?

My son is an employee at Meta. When I mentioned this quote in relation to Zuckerberg pledging a $1M to Trump’s inaugural, his reply, which I think most Meta employees would agree with, was “Sad”. What’s the purpose of being a billionaire if you’re only going to acquiesce so meekly?
